Description
Floor germinated oats dried over wild cherry wood. Prior to the industrial revolution Oats were often used in beer when the barley crop was insufficient across Europe. A raw ale prevailed in Carinthia well into the 19th century. Malted oats were also extensively used in the Netherlands during this time. Use this malt to make a wide array of "forgotten" and disappearing historic oat ale.
